The thing he's holding is the barrel from an m/45b machine pistol, with a 9mm round jammed a few millimetres from the exit. The barrel is from my weapon. A few minutes earlier, I had heard a weird puff and a smoke came out of the gun as we were firing down a range. I had ejected the round and magazine and was just about to resume firing when I checked the exit and saw the bullet staring back at me. The rest of the time in the army I borrowed someone elses barrel (we had AK5's too, but they were a bitch to clean and I preferred the m/45). The supply guys didn't even bat an eyelid when i returned it at demob.
